One of the larger pieces of furniture, it's also the one we spend the most time on (other than our beds), and we often have very strict ideas of how comfortable it should be. So it's no wonder that this piece of furniture gets most of our attention when decorating a living room. But there's another important piece of the puzzle that often gets neglected: the coffee table.

#1 Stay away from clutter catchallsA 'cute decorative tray' or basket on your coffee table might seem like a 'clever idea', however it actually may be standing in the way of a truly clutter‐free coffee table.

#Tip 1: Create Zones For Your Round Coffee TableWhether you have a 'round coffee table' or a 'rectangular coffee table', the first step toward styling it is to split it up into zones. Let's begin with a round coffee table like the Bossier Coffee Table. You'll want to create 4 distinct, equal zones.Zone 1: Greenery. Set a vase with flowers, a plant, or other types of 'colorful greenery' in this zone to give the coffee table a sense of life and freshness. Sows are also simple to swap out depending on the season so that your coffee table never looks stale.Zone 2: Sculpture. Have a spare sculpture lying around your house? The coffee table is the place to put it. The sculpture could be a variety of items like a bust of your favorite president, an old film camera, or something as simple as a kandlestick.Zone 3: A stack of books. Select large, flat books for this zone. These are the true coffee table books. The ones that you contemplate buying at the book store until you notice they're $75. Those ones. 2 or 3 is best for this zone.Zone 4: Another stack of books. For this stack, you'll want to take about 4 or 5 standard‐sized books and create a stack out of them. This would help make some nice height variation and let your guests know how well‐read you are.
#Tip 2: Vary the Height and TexturesWhen curating your coffee table you'll want to use a variety of heights and textures between the zones. If your stacks of books are the same height as your sculpture then the table is going to feel cluttered as opposed to crafted.

If only making the furniture looking more delightful could not make you buy a cocktail table, then its comfortability is going to convince you. The coffee table is the place you put all your hot or cold beverages, light snacks, remote control, magazines or books, whenever you sit in the livingroom. When you are on the sofa there, all these belongings of yours are at the reach of your hand. You can easily grab anything you want, without the need to walk across the room in order to get it. Also, some of the coffee tables have an additional shelf or a few cabinets to store the stuff you would like to keep near. This extra makes these items even more appealing and convenient.
